I have followed with interest his work in the Theory of Hilbert Space, which has been one of the principal objects of my own research. Híb work in this field is excellent and of the high quality which is traditional in Hungarian mathematical work. His summary exposition of the Theory of Hilbert Space, which appeared in 1942 in the "Ergebnisse", shows his mastery of the subject. This work will certainly be consulted

de M.Béla v.Sz.Nagy. Je le considere comme un mathématicien de talant. Ses travaux sur l*espace de Hilbert en font fői. Son ouvrage "Spektraldarstellungen linearer Transformationen des Hilbertschen Raumes" paru en 1942 dans la collection "Ergebnisse der Mathematik u.ihrer Grenzgebiete" me páráit un modéle de concision et de clartéjil rendre certainement de grands services á ceux qui désirent se mettre au courant des travaux parus sur l’espace de Hilbert /travaux dans lesquels plusieurs Hongrois-je ne citerai que F.Riesz et J.v.Neumann- ont apporté une cont^ibutuion capitale/.
