Smoke, smoke. Carrying, on its big silver belly a bulging forehead, granulated sugar dissolved in streaks and the shop with its parchment lamp: the coffee-machine is seething. It's seething, trembling, and merrily whistling the sign of the starting engine, as if, through the vast swishing spaces of the dark outside, it carried its tiny train, and with it flew, intact, the stuffy, luke-warm smelling compartment.
