Nespresso automata kávékapszulás készülék, 21. század Nespresso automatic device for coffee capsules, 21 s t century between 1 and 5 bar. Foam makers are, practically parts of every device. A number of apparatuses are provided with dripping trays, to prevent the user's hands from getting soiled, when he takes the cups from under the outlet tube at the end of the coffee making process. The only thing that remains to do is to wash the used cups. Devices with coffee capsules In these apparatuses the 7 g of coffee necessary for a drink are enclosed in special plastic capsules. Apart from this, the devices are very similar to those with coffee pods but, in general, they operate with higher pressures (not surpassing 19 bar), therefore they are said to give better coffee than the devices with coffee pods. Advantages and disadvantages Every manufacturer was keen on producing devices that might, also by their outer appearance, gain the approval of the buyer. Every device has its own design characteristic of the manufacturer. This way everybody can find the best fit for their tastes. For the time being, most devices can be used with the pods or capsules of one coffee brand only. There are, however, some that can be used with any "unit package" on the market. With the most recent devices you can prepare, as hot drink, not only different kinds of coffee but also tea, cocoa, moreover cooled drinks, for instance fruit juices are also possible to make. The raw material for these is also available in "unit packages". The amount of liquid can be programmed according to the different kinds of drink. There are, however, devices, which identify the capsules with the aid of bar codes and adjust the amount of liquid to be added, accordingly. The length of the outlet tube (or tubes) on the devices is adjustable so that cups or glasses suited for various drinks can be placed on the tray. The prices of both the devices and the pods or capsules are quite high. They will, however, most probably decrease with the products getting habitual and widespread as it happened, e. g. with computers and mobile phones. Environment protectors worry because of the non-decomposable plastic wastes generated in large amounts, which can even not be placed in selective waste containers as the coffee cannot be removed from them. This remains a problem to be solved. Here again we have an accomplishment that revolutionizes the habits and possibilities of coffee houses, like one century earlier the appearance of espresso coffee machines for the catering industry and for households. 113
