Part of the ornamentation was created from twelve Egyptian mummies, made of red stone, decorated with white hieroglyphs. The white-yellow-blue colours and the Egyptian decorative elements had important roles as early as in 1769 and their purpose was to make the rooms even more mystical and fancy. The model was made by Jakob Fahlbusch and Johannes Ruppert. A híres építész, François-Joseph Bélanger kertjében Saint-Denis-ben volt egy pagodát idéző fürdőpavilon. A kicsi, egy térből álló „Pavillon de Bains Chinois"-nak nevezett templomszerűséget különleges növények vették körül, amivel még inkább magára vonta figyelmet. A makettet Boris Plugfelder készítette.
