Ledoux a dór oszlopsorral körbevett medencét magában foglaló központi teret üvegezett kupolával fedte le, hatalmas opeionnal [a megvilágítást szolgáló nyílás a kupola záradékpontján]. Claude-Nicolas Ledoux, Chaux város közfürdőjének terve, alaprajz, metszet, a L'Architecture considérée sous le rapport de l'art, des moeurs et de la législation című műből, Paris 1804 Design of a public bath in Chaux by Claude-Nicolas Ledoux, layout, from L'Architecture considérée sous le rapport de l'art, des moeurs et de la législation, Paris 1804. CLAUDE-NICOLAS LEDOUX DESIGN OF A BATHHOUSE, NEUILLY, CHAMPS ELISÉES AROUND 1775 In 1775 Claude-Nicolas Ledoux designed a public spa in the Champs Elisées in Neuilly. In the center of the facility a small, round shaped house was situated with a pool whose layout had the shape of a circle. Through the portico of the inside yard the bathers got to their apartments with a hall, a dressing room, a bedroom and even a parlor. If this design was really made by Ledoux, we may suspect that the design of the Bains Publics made for the city of Chaux in 1804 must be the premise. Here we can also find rooms furnished with beds and situated around the circle-shaped, arcaded courtyard. Ledoux covered the central square with a glassed dome, which houses the pool surrounded by Doric style pillars and mounted by a huge opeion. The model was made by Judith Kuhnert, Gesche Schlecht és Meike Wolf.
