Az idézetek egy másik rétege nem szó szerint került be a könyvbe, hanem sokakkal folytatott beszélgetések során szűrődött a sorok közé. Vannak olyan „társszerzők" is, akik a kiállítás társ-kurátoraiként is szerepeltek, s akiktől sokat tanulhattam a szódások hajdani vagy mai világáról. Ók nálam jóval régebben lettek rabjai ennek a „pezsegve üdítő" szenvedélynek. Nekik köszönhetek a legtöbbet! Először kell említenem Bánffi Istvánt, a szakma jeles művelőjét és lelkes gyűjtőjét, aki a szó legjobb értelmében megszállottként, óriási anyagi áldozatok árán és magát soha nem kímélve gyűjtötte össze azt a hatalmas anyagot, mely lehetővé tette, hogy a két kiállítás tanúskodjék a szikvíz jelentőségéről életünkben. Családja ebben mindvégig hűségesen támogatta, és jó néhány éve nem kevésbé elkötelezett társra is talált Képessy Imre amatőr „szikvízmúlt-kutató" személyében, aki az írott források feltárásában szorgoskodott leginkább. Csatlakozott hozzájuk Végh József is, aki mint a szakma „nagy öregje", élő forrásként ontotta magából az adatokat és a tényeket. Hála nekik és hála a szakma valamennyi korábbi és jelenkori művelőjének - nélkülük ez a könyv nem születhetett volna meg. On the other hand, there are some co-authors who acted as co-curators of our exhibition and, at the same time, offered me a great deal of knowledge about the one-time and today's world of soda manufacturers. They have been the slaves of this „fizzy" sparkler much longer than me. They were of the greatest help to me! The name of István Bánffi, an outstanding figure and collector of this trade, should be given in the first place. He, in the highest sense of the word, fanatically, never sparing his energy and the costs, started a huge collection of the objects, which allowed the two exhibitions to prove the importance of soda water in our lives. His family was an altruistic supporter of him all the time, and years ago he found a no less companion in the person of Imre Képessy, an amateur „researcher of the past of soda water", who was most active in studying the written sources. The team was completed by József Végh, the „Creat Old One" of the trade, who served data and facts as parts of his experience. This book could not have been published without their contributions, so thanks to them and all the one-time and contemporary actors of the trade. And, of course, thanks to all the consumers who have this drink regularly or occassionally keeping this trade alive and, naturally, the readers of this book who will hopefully have the thirst to taste a glass of soda water.
