Kiss Imre: Szódavíz, egy magyar kultuszital, Szikvíz ipartörténeti album (Budapest, 2008)

Kezdjük a sort egy húsvéti locsolórigmussal: Let start with a verse for Easter: Ha bujkál e háznak lánya, Csaljuk elő kiabálva, Ha nem jön a hívó szóra, Kölni helyett jön a szóda. Szabad-e locsolni? A képeslapoknak is egyik kedvenc témája a szódásüveg és a spriccelés (tusolás!) aktusa, és mi sem természetesebb, mint hogy a szódásüvegek egy szépséges kollekciója a Százszorkép kiadó jóvoltából megjelenik képeslapon sőt plakáton is, a zsánerképek kedvelőinek legnagyobb örömére. A festészet és a plasztika gyakran ábrázolja, többnyire csak mellékes szerepben, de van olyan kortárs festőművészünk, Für Emil, akinek a képein szinte kötelező elem a szódásüveg. Ez talán nem véletlen, hiszen ő maga is komoly szódásüveg-gyűjteménnyel rendelkezik. If there is a nice lady hiding in the house, Please, come out at once, you are not a mouse. ... Soda water and sprinkling (showering!) is a favourite topic of picture postcards, and no wonder that Százszorkép Publishing House issued a great collection of soda bottles as picture postcards and posters, to the greatest pleasure of the fans. Paint and plastic works often show the soda bottle, most of the times as a thing part of the picture, however, there are some contemporary artists, e.g. Emil Für, in whose pictures soda bottle is indispensable. It cannot be a coincidence, as he himself is an enthusiastic collector of old bottles. Németh Gábor „Fröccs" című alkotásáról nehéz eldönteni, hogy vörös vagy fehér borból készült, mindenesetre a keveredés egy olyan szent pillanatát örökíti meg, amit a művészek általában örömmel ragadnak meg, ha tehetségük engedi. The work of Gábor Németh entitled „Fröccs" does not tell us whether it was made of red or white wine. Anyway, the mixture of the ingredients is eternalized at a moment that is desirable for the artists who have the talent.
