The Hungarian Record Factory Company The first trademark of the Hungarian Record Factory Company (Magyar Hanglemez­gyártó Nemzeti Vállalat) was M.H.V. For export purposes the name was changed before long to Qualiton. The company was renamed Hungaroton Hungarian Record Factory Company (HMHV: Hungaroton Magyar Hanglemezgyártó Vállalatra) and started to produce other record labels under its wing; thus the labels Bravo, Favorit, Gong, Krém, Pepita, Pepita international, Start were born, along with the Radioton label that published recordings from Magyar Rádió. These brands published singles, LPs and later cassettes and CDs from an extremely wide range of genres.
