" pompas h" - is a distorted version of the Hungarian "pompás", meaning "splendid": taken perhaps from Lajos Fülep, close acquaintance of Craig at that time. 2. Till 1908 five short plays by Hevesi have been published. 3. "I come from Ireland!" - A confusing sentence. Craig had no direct connection to Ireland whatever. He was not visiting the island at that time, either. The word "Craig", however, used by him as a pen-name, is of Irish origin (his "legal" name being Henry Edward Gordon Wardell). Cruising in the Irish channel, years earlier, he has learnt that the Irish word for "rock" is "creag", so he decided to take it on. 4.
