Díszlet-és jelmeztervező, rendező. Tanulmányait a Színház- és Filmművészeti Főiskolán végezte 1952-1956 között, ahol rendezői diplomát kapott. Először az Operaházban segédrendező, majd 1959—60-ban a Nemzeti Színház tervezője. 1964-től haláláig az Operaház díszlet-és jelmeztervezője, rendezője, 1989-től vezető tervezője volt. 1978-tól tanított a Képzőművészeti Főiskolán is. 1975-ben Erkel-díjat,

Set & costume designer, director. He studied at the A.D.F.B. 1952-56, he was awarded a director's diploma. First he was an assitant director at the Opera House, then the designer of the National Th. 1959—60. From 1964 to his death he was the set and costume designer, director and from 1989 the senior designer of the Opera House. From 1978 he taught at The Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts. He was granted the Erkel Prize (1975) and the Merited Artist Prize (1989).

Bühnen- und Kostümbildner, Regisseur.

1952-1956 Studium an der Theater- und Filmhochschule, Regiediplom. Regie-Assistent an der Ungarischen Staatsoper. 1959- 1960 Ausstatter am Nationaltheater. Seit 1964 bis zu seinem Tode Bühnen- und Kostümbildner,

Regisseur an der Staatsoper. Seit 1989 Chefausstatter. Seit 1978 Lehrtätigkeit an der Hochschule der Bildenden Künste. 1975 Erkel Preis. 1989 Ehrentitel Verdienter Künstler.
