Rezumat

Colectarea de date, efectuată în Gheorgheni, am facut-o cu scopul de a avea informaţii suficiente, pentru prezentarea stânei, din regiunea Ardealului, în cadrul Muzeului National al Satului din Szentendre, Ungaria. Stânele din Munţii Gheorgheni sunt total diferite faţă de cele aflate la o altitudine medie (de exemplu cele de-a lungul râului Homorod). Cele din urmă, sunt de tip provizoriu, mai mici şi portabile, construcţii

care pot fi uşor mutate, ridicate în mare majoritate cu scopul de a creşte oi; spre deosebire, cele din Munţii Gheorgheni sunt, în general, construcţii permanente, mari şi mai puţin mobile, folosite la creşterea bovinelor ori a mai multor feluri de animale. în acest studiu, voi prezenta trei stâne din Gheorgheni aşa cum le-am văzut în vara anului 2015.

SHEEPFOLDS IN GHEORGHENI TODAY

Abstract

The aim of my data collection in Gheorgheni was to get enough information that could be used in setting up a Transylvanian sheepfold, as a part of the new Transylvanian unit, in the Hungarian Open Air Museum from Szentendre, Hungary.

The sheepfolds from the high mountain regions of Gheorgheni County are different from those found at medium altitudes, as for example the ones from around the Homoród region.

The latter are smaller, easily movable temporary buildings suitable for keeping sheep, while the sheepfolds from Gheorgheni are larger, mostly permanent, hard to move buildings that are used to house cattle or sheep as well, in some cases.

In my paper are described three sheepfolds from the Gheorgheni region as I saw them in the summer of 2015.
