Autorii şi tipografii înşiră, în câteva rânduri sau chiar în mai multe pagini, erorile de tipar pe care n-au reuşit să le depisteze în timpul tipăririi. Enumerarea tipurilor de greşeli tipografice, explicarea cauzelor acestora, scuzele faţă de cititori, urmate apoi de propunerile privind corectarea, promisiunile pentru viitor pentru un tipar lipsit de greşeli, oferirea unei interactivităţi virtuale între autori şi cititori, toate acestea formează scopul studiului. O bibliografie de specialitate largă îl ajută pe autorul lucrării în efortul său de cercetare. ”DO NOT HATE THE GOLD JUST BECAUSE IT IS IN A DIRTY BAG!” (MENDA GRAVIORA SIC CORRIGENDA) Abstract The study analizes old Hungarian books and printings from the special point of view of the errata. The authors and printers enumerate in a few lines or even on a few pages the mistakes they did not observe in time, during printing. The enumeration of mistakes, the description of their causes, the seeking of excuses, the apologies in front of the readers, then the correction procedures and the promises of avoiding future mistakes, basically create a virtual interactivity between the author and its reader, in the framework of this kind of written summary. A selection of specialized literature guided the author of the present study during his research. I 192
