SCHIMBĂRILE MODULUI DE VIAŢĂ ÎN MEREŞTI (HOMORÓDALMÁS) PRIN EXEMPLUL TRAIECTORIEI DE VIAŢĂ A LUI TÓDOR ALBERT Rezumat Tatăl meu, Tódor Albert sen. a trăit între 1934-2014 în comuna Mereşti (judeţul Harghita, România). în această perioadă au avut loc mai multe schimbări politice şi sociale radicale, care au avut influenţe irevocabile asupra vieţii din spaţiul rural. In studiul prezent, am cercetat efectele transfomărilor, care s-au produs în acest interval destul de lung, bazândumă pe exemplul de viaţă al tatălui meu. Concluziile mele sunt valabile şi în contextul satelor învecinate, de pe Valea Homoroadelor. THE LIFESTYLE CHANGES OCCURING IN MEREŞTI (HOMORÓDALMÁS) BASED ON THE LIFE OF ALBERT TÓDOR Abstract My father, Albert Tódor the elder lived in Mereşti (Homoródalmás) between 1934 and 2014. During this time period, several sociological and political changes occurred in Transylvania which have influenced the rural lifestyle. In my paper I would like to examine the most important changes based on their effects on my father’s life. The conclusions I have drawn apply to all the other villages settled on the Homoroadelor Valley. 293
