Rezumat

Articolul analizează revista de specialitate agrară a Comitatului Ciuc, „Csiki Gazda”, redactată de Imre T. Nagy, punând accent pe concepţia de redactare, pe scopul propus şi atins de revistă în primul deceniu al secolului al 20-lea, când voinţa producătorilor mici şi mijlocii s-a întâlnit cu dorinţa statului maghiar de a interveni în domeniul agrar, în scopul modificării structurilor agrare învechite. Revista, similar numeroaselor periodice transilvănene de acest gen ale epocii, s-a dovedit a fi folositoare, fiind un forum al confruntării ideilor moderne din agricultură ale perioadei cu posibilităţile destul de precare ale Ţinutului Secuiesc.

Abstract

The paper is analyzing the agricultural magazine Csiki Gazda edited by Imre T. Nagy dating back to the first half of the 20th century. It is searching for the editorial principles in order of the functionality of goals and results. The magazine like many other Transylvanian agricultural editorials was promisingly beneficial in an era when the interests of the small- and medium sized peasantry were coinciding with the positive political interventions of the government. The actions of the government tended to exchange the old farming habits and technologies to the new, up to date ones, while encountering the extremely poor potentials of Szeklerland.
