Through a recently discovered impost element it became clear that the vaults of two bays of the western aisle were built of the same elements as the vaults of the lots at the western end of the nave. These are archivolts and diagonal ribs with the same elements and toward east ogival vault with a threequarter bead profile. The exterior order of arches of the former southern portal leading to the aisle was decorated with Norman beads, the next with foliage. The existence of a third order of arches is still uncertain.
