However it is a southern element in CentralEurope, it is spreading in the last decades (DVORAK & ROBERTS 2006, DVORAK 2007). The maximum elevation was 710 m from Hungary. Occurs both on hilly and flat areas. Polyeurytherm. Lowland subalpine species (CETKOVIC 2002). The visited plant associations and plant species, as marked on labels: CleistogenoFestucetum rupicolae, Querceto petraeae-Carpinetum, Querceto-Cotinetum, Populetum, Ulmetum, Tilia sp. loess grassland, sandy grassland, sand-wall, weed vegetation, pasture, raspberry plantation, Anethum graveolens, Linaria vulgaris, Medicago sativa, Anchusa officinalis, Aster pannonicus, Cirsium vulgare, Cynoglossum hungaricum, Eryngium campestre, Eryngium vulgare, Echium vulgare, Crépis rhoeadifolia, Heracleum sphondylium, Angelica silvestris.
