Summary In the course of the research of the arboretum's flora and fauna, the author collected and studied the various types of moss found in the park. The presence of 6 species of hepatic moss and 39 species of foliose moss was shown as a result. Among these the Porella baueri is of surpassing interest because this is its first appearence in Transdanubia. The histograms constructed on the basis of the ecological needs of moss are useful for the study of environmental factors.
