SZÁNTÓ, LÁSZLÓ: A CATALOGUE OF PUBLICATIONS ON THE SOMOGY COUNTY EVENTS OF THE REVOLUTION AND WAR OF INDEPENDENCE IN 1956 The sources of the history of the 1956 revolution, as well as the public recollections of the events, became available after the change of regime. The bibliography gives a picture of the results of the past two decades in the field of exploring and processing the Somogy County events. The author presents the publications on the revolutionary events in three major groups. The first comprises the smaller-larger scholarly publications, from the independent thematic publications to studies published in magazines or other volumes. The second group is made up of the memoirs of the participants of the 1956 events and other publications. The third group includes articles in the daily, weekly papers, which contain substantive data about the events and the people involved in the revolution in Somogy County. 204
