Résumé Borsa Iván; The records of the convent in Somogy county in the National Archives (source publication) 1215-1300. In 1970, in the first volume of the annals From the past of Somogy county, the late Komjáthy Miklós began the publication of the extracts of the records kept in the National Archives and issued by the convent in Somogy county in the Jagelló era. I Ip to 1993, 259 extracts were put out in 21 publications. His initiative was taken up by his then colleague and friend n such a way that he also publishes the pieces of the photo collection of records which was later established in the National Archives in a similarly detailed extract. This first publication contains the extract of the 42 records remained from the Árpád era. Nag)' Pál; The seals of the country-towns and villages in Somogy county 1768-1856. (Part 4. Fajsz-Gyöngyösmellék). The fourth part of the sigillographie study contains 73 seal descriptions of 22 settlements. From the usual table we can obtain information about the data of the history of administration and change of name. The 70 seal drawings were made by the author this time too. In most of the seal picturesjust like in the previous ones, traditional agricultural symbols can bee seen, and of particular interest is the number eighth imprint of Gamás. The seals of Felsősegesd stand out both in the fashion of description and the quality of the engraving. The story of some of the loan seals would again require an independent study, for instance, all of the imprints of Görösgal and the seal of Gárdony from the 1st century, which can be seen on the records of several other settlements too. Paul László; The press of Somogy county 1863-1890 (Part 1) The author introduces the circumstances of how the first newspapers got started. He draws up the economic and cultural assets, opportunities and needs of Kaposvár and the whole county. We can get to know the difficulties of the circulation of the papers, the principles in editing and, last but not least, the work of Roboz István. We can get a feeling of the professional preparedness of the contemporary journalists. The author introduces the different columns and genres, that is, the structure of the press. We can also follow the level of technical editing and the press technology. Parallel to the Somogy weekly, we can come to know the other papers that came out temporarily. 77. Mérey Klára; Nagyatád, the cradle of the small-holders' movement (Second publication) After the first part of the study, which dealt with the agriculture and the agrarian population of the country-town of Nagyatád, this part-study shows its industry, commerce and transportation from 1867 to 1918. After the law that obliterated teh gilds, as early as in 1876 a considerable number of industrial and commercial entrepeuneurs was registered in this country-town. The statistical figures show the domination of small industry. We can follow the activity of the button-making and trimming factory founded in 1882, in which foreign capital
