A Ferencvárosi Torna Club 1899. május 3-án alakult. Az FTC színe: zöld-fehér. Az egyesület címerén látható 5 zöld és 4 fehér csík, amely Budapest IX. kerületét, a Ferencvárost szimbolizálja. Az egyesületi embléma alján lévő zöld pajzsban elhelyezett, egymáshoz fordított három E betű az egyesület jelmondatára utal: Erkölcs, Erő, Egyetértés

— Az egyesület címe: Ferencvárosi Torna Club Budapest, 1091 Üllői út 129. Az egyesület stadionja is itt található, befogadóképessége 30 ezer néző.

A villanyvilágítást 1978 őszén szerelték fel, a fényerő 1500 lux.

— A Ferencváros az egyedüli magyar

csapat, amely minden bajnokságban részt vett. 1985-ig összesen 23 alkalommal nyert bajnokságot:

1903, 1905, 1906-1907, 1908-1909, 1909-1910, 1910-1911, 1911-1912, 1912-1913, 1925-1926, 1926-1927, 1927-1928, 1931-1932, 1933-1934, 1937-1938, 1939-1940, 1940-1941, 1948-1949, 1962-1963, 1964, 1967, 1968, 1975-1976, 1980-1981. Ennyi bajnoki címet egyetlen más magyar csapat sem nyert!

— Az FTC (becenevén FRADI) nyerte

— Az FTC a legnépszerűbb magyar klubcsapat. Szurkolói idegenbeli mérkőzéseire, sokszor külföldre is elkísérik. A klub szurkolói taglétszáma 4—5 ezer között van. A mérkőzések átlagos nézőszáma 15—20 ezer fő.

The Ferencvárosi Torna Club founded on 3rd May, 1899. The colours of FTC are green and white. There are five green and four white stripes on the shield of the Club as the symbol of Ferencváros (Francis City) wich is the No. 9 district of Budapest. At the bottom of the shield, in a smaller, green shield the three Capital E-s refer to the slogan: Erkölcs, Erő, Egyetértés = Morals,

Strenght, Concord.

— The Ferencváros is the most popular Hungarian Club. The fans always go with the team to away matches in Hungary, and often to foreing countries too. The members of the Supporters’ Club are about 4000. The home average in league matches are 15—20 000.
