Sikeres iskola - sikeres múzeum MEGHÍVÓ A Nemzeti Kulturális Örökség Minisztériuma és a Magyar Természettudományi Múzeum meghívja a magyarországi múzeumokban dolgozó közműve­lőket és a múzeumokat látogató pedagógusokat a Múzeumok Mindenkinek Program keretében a 2004. évi Múzeumpedagógiai évnyitóra és szakmai rendezvényre 2004. október 5-én kedden 10-16 óráig a Magyar Természettudományi Múzeum új kiállítási terébe: Budapest VT. Ludovika tér 2-6. A részt vevő múzeumok lehetőséget kapnak, hogy magukat, múzeumpedagógiai kínálatukat poszteren bemutassák, termékeiket árusítsák. Meghívunk egyéb szolgáltatókat is. CALL FOR APPLICATIONS The Foundation for Museums and Visitors (Hungary) announces 2 grants for one-week staff exchanges for museum professionals working in the area of museum education or audience-management/event organiza­tion. Hosting institutions are Northumbria University and the North East Regional Museums Hub (network of outstanding museums in the region). Exchanges will happen between October 2004 and February 2005 based on the participants requests. During the visits, participants are required to work out a practical project in the above-mentioned areas that can benefit both institutions. Areas for project ideas: 1. Live Interpretation (from Role Plays to Re-Enactment Shows) 2. Audience Development (with a Focus on Families) 3. Community Involvement in Museum Work (Volunteers, Friends' Groups) 4. Access by the Disabled Visit by Hungarians: The Foundation with the help of the British Council will pay for airfare (including tax) to and from Newcastle and per diem (15 GBP/day/person) and organizational costs. Hosting institution will provide accomodation (it might be informal arrangement, ie. staying at the exchange partner's house), one or two meals per day and travel within the area. The applicant (museum or local-government) is required to pay the rest. Hosting by Hungarians: Hosting institution/person is required to provide accomodation, one or two meals per day and travel within Hungary. Airfare and per diem (15 GBP/day/person) for UK participants will be covered by the Foundation with the help of the British Council.
