Mrs. Béla Vichmann Business report of the Communications Museum Foundation for 2006 The balance sheet of the Communications Museum Foundation showed an outcome of -2 486 000 forints for 2006. The reason was that our inflow dropped by 1 485 000 forints and our outlay was 1 001 000 higher than planned. Magyar Telekom provided the foundation with 4 000 000 forints above and beyond the 146 000 000 in support it had pledged, to alleviate personal transport issues, to enable us to access the thirteen branches, collections and warehouses located all over the country. The Hungarian Postal Service gave us 3 000 000 less than planned, while Antenna Hungária cut our support by 7 902 000 forints. The breakdown of founder support was as follows: Magyar Telekom 150 000 000 forints 62,5% Hungarian Postal Service 65 000 000 forints 27,0% Antenna Hungária 25 098 000 forints 10,5% The revenues the museum produced on its own were in keeping with expectations. The deficit in our balance sheet was alleviated by a subtraction of the separate inflow from the 2004 eWorld contest, and the high interest income from financial investments. The Communications Museum Foundation maintains its museums, exhibition sites, collections, and warehouses on an overall area of 10 081 m2, in the following breakdown: Museums and exhibition sites 2 575 m2 Collections warehouses 903 m2 Other warehouses 810 m2 Artefact warehouse 600 m2 Open air exhibition site 4 445 m2 Auditorium, other 259 m2 Office, work space 489 m2 Total space: 10 081 m2 211
