scripts from our data archives in our 2002 yearbook, and did a particularly good job with research focused on the lives of people who were outstanding in the postal world. We prepared a comprehensive study of the postal history of Kőszeg, which we published on our yearbook. We plan to use that study as the basis for designing an exhibition on and in Kőszeg. We have begun the analytical processing of the bound manuscripts, diploma theses, and articles in the postal yearbooks within the Postal Museum library, and also have started to compile a list of Internet sites related to telecommunications, as well as a telecom bibliography. Reports on the Postal Museum were published in two issues of the periodical Hungarian Museums, one in the first-quarter issue and one in the fourth-quarter issue. There has been a significant amount of research focused on computerising a permanent exhibition at the Museum of Telephony, called Noise Barrier to WorldWideWeb. The effort has included brief lexical definitions of related terminology. The Foundation has invited bids in its Futics Competition. This year it has focused on the storyboards for virtual exhibitions, which is a start in actually using our exhibition software. The exhibitions connected to the storyboards spotlight an absence of article databases by specialised journals. The Foundation’s 2002 yearbook contains the final phase in the chronology of postal history - from 1867 to 1990. It includes a collection of all post office decrees that are historically interesting, up until the time the post office was divided up on the basis of operations.
