Independent Auditor’s Report I completed an audit of the 1999 financial record of the Foundation of the Postal and Telecommunication Museum within the time frame requested. The audit was conducted in accordance with the laws and regulations valid in Hungary, and in keeping with auditing guidelines, based on a programme of auditing operations. Preparation of the report itself is the responsibility of management. My task was to seal the report following my audit. After examining random samples of the report and conducting itemised and separate investigations as part of the audit, I ascertained that the Foundation report concurs with the specifications of accounting law. On this basis, I attached the following clause to the 1999 report: “This report was compiled in accordance with accounting law and the general principles of accounting. The annual report provides a reliable and realistic picture of the property, finances and income of the Foundation. ” Total change in assets: Total value of assets (actives): Total value of resources (passives: Budapest, 20 April 2000 István Lakatos certified accountant HUF 19,008,000 HUF 72,014,000 HUF 72,014,000 002190 Supervisory Board Opinion The Supervisory Board of the Foundation of the Postal and Telecommunication Museum reviewed its 1999 annual report, and approved the auditor’s report.
