3.3. Exhibitions Beyond the maintenance of regular exhibitions and minor additions to the collections at the eight permanent exhibition sites of our museums, this year we rearranged the exhibition of the postal museum in Ópusztaszer and after dismantling the Tivadar Puskás exhibition we organized a new exhibition in the Postal Museum which will make possible the use of the mirror room for several purposes. The Stamp Museum, beyond the international and stamp day exhibitions, continues its exhibition series introducing artists. In November 1994 it opens the exhibition with Erzsébet Szekeres, stamp designer textile artist. We are preparing an exhibition book for our new exhibition sites in Debrecen. As an experiment we are introducing information monitors in some of our exhibitions. The execution works of the permanent exhibition will start according to the organizing book of the Radio and Television Museum in Diósd. 3.4. Scientific activity • Start preparing the professional historical national chronology by processing the Postal and Telegraph Archive between 1867 and 1900. • Assembling collection catalogues. • Preparing exhibition texts and exhibition notes. • Conference performances. • Publishing the 1993 year book. 3.5. General education, professional cultural activity, museum education, public relations • Organizing cultural and scientific meetings • Extended personal admission passes for employees of the founding companies (about 72,000 persons) to the foundation museums and exhibition halls, according to the example attached • Extension of museum education, cooperation with teachers in the postal and telecommunications vocational secondary schools • Making video films of the foundation museums 3.6. International relations • Participation in the IATM general assembly 1994 • Participation in the MUT general assembly 1994 • The museums wish to hand in three tenders to the World Expo Programme Bureau: EWorld Post Walk 2.
