Saller vezetésével feltárt (többnyire V. századi) templomok, keresztelőkápolnák, kolostori helyiségek omladékain sok érdekes ábrázolatokban gazdag mozaik is napfényre került. Ezeknek a római katakombái képekre emlékeztető mozaikoknak egyikén a kenyereskosár két hallal az Eucharisztia ismert ókeresztény jelképe (Khirbet el-Muhajet öt temploma közül a másodiknak mozaikján).
