Józef Krukowski: The Issues of the Negotiations of Concordats

32 J. KRUKOWSKI the part of the state. The initiative to conclude concordat is generally taken at the turning points in the history of a given country. These moments are also crucial in the history of relations between state and Church in a given country. There is no doubt that in the context of socio-political changes which are experienced by the Slovak society, the proper moment came to undertake negotiations in order to regulate the mutual relations between State and Church in a form of concordat. In this context, out common considerations can became the evangelic “charlock grain”, which will fall on good soil, will root, grow and give the yield a hundred times higher.
