A comprehensive list of dissertations contained in the library of the theological faculty of the Péter Pázmány Catholic University of Budapest from the years 1863 to 1993. Complete in one volume in a paperback edition and very neatly ordered as to presentation, this publication sets out the 1460 thesis titles in alphabetical, rather than chronological, order according to the authors. Essential details only are catalogued and include title of thesis, length in pages, date of publication, etc. Reference is greatly facilitated by a series of indices according to place-names in the titles of the theses, names of people, subject material and also biblical topics dealt with. Most branches of theological material are represented: asceticism, Sacred Scripture, dogma, philosophy, homiletics, canon law, catechetics, pastoral theology, liturgy, moral theology, patrology, pedagogy, sacramental theology, sociology and Church history.
