PASTORAL LEGISLATION OF POPE FRANCIS: NEW NORMS ON TEACHING... 323 See’s Agency for the Evaluation and Promotion of Quality in Ecclesiastical Universities and Faculties (AVEPRO)24, and here I need to mention the introducing of the electronic data service too.25 Here, I only refer to the new Statutes of the AVEPRO which have come in force on May 5th 2015, approved for five years by Card. Pietro Paroline.26 27 The applicative norms - which were published together with the text of Veritatis gaudium in the thematic order - follow the new apostolic constitution’s structure, nevertheless, this structure is the same what we could find in the Ordinationes to the Sapientia Christiana21. This observation is well proved by those many cross references within the new Ordinationes which refers to the 1979’ norm, if the legislator likes to enlighten the precise meaning of the contents of the new regulation. The new Ordinationes expressively emphasizes - strongly recommends - the foundation of research centers, scientific reviews and collections, moreover arranging inter-faculties scholarly discourses on different levels at the faculties of sacred sciences, in order to promote the high quality scientific activity.28 There is no novelty in the document as compared with the former Ordinationes regarding the detailed explanation of the single sacred sciences, which includes the mandatory subjects, except the contents of fundamental theology, which has got a more precise description and covers the ecumenism, the relation with the non-Christian denominations, the question of atheism, and further - linked to the contemporary cultural circumstances - problems and their answers in harmony with the teaching of the Catholic Church.29 If we compare the texts of the apostolic constitutions Sapientia Christiana and Veritatis gaudium, moreover their norms of application (means: Ordinationes) we can clearly see, that Pope Francis - using the results of that very serious and profound official, professional and scholarly research, which has dio, Passo della Mendola 30 giugno - 4 luglio 2003), Milano 2004. 257-291.
