Obviously, to promote the afore-mentioned concept of the Catholic family we need a new form of pastoral service of families, which focuses on improvement of the essential elements of matrimonial love. In order to introduce this new form, we must involve the families and the local communities themselves into it, cooperating in the fulfillment of the day-to-day work of the Church’s mission (pp. 337-379). This unique volume of Luis de Prada García uses new approach, new methodology on the description of family and marriage in Catholic prospective. This is the reason why his conclusion is revolutionary new. practical and helpful for renewal of the pastoral service of marriage within the Catholic Church's mission. This book therefore can be indispensable for those programs of family sciences which have begun in the Church for the good of our families and transforming our secular society into a faithful one, accepting God’s love. Erdő P., Az ókori egyházfegyelem emlékei, I-IV. század (Ókori Keresztény írók 2. kötet), Budapest, Szent István Társulat 2018, pp. 592 Sources written in ancient classical languages are always important for linguistic, literary, historical, philosophical, but even legal, canonical and theological scientific researches. It motivates recurring - decades by decades - new translations of those indispensable sources which are primary to understand a concrete historical milieu, theory, methodology, legislation, religious concept, etc. Regarding Church history and canon law history we know several prestigious series which contains - based on textual critical principles - a highly qualified translation, sometimes in bilingual form with the critical form in the original ancient language. Among the relevant editions of Early Christian texts we must mention here at least Sources Chrétiennes (Paris 194 Iff); Biblioteca de Aulores Cristianos (Madrid 1945ff), and Bibliothek der Kirchenväter (Leipzig 1869ff. Kempten 191 Iff, Wiesbaden 2005ff). In Hungarian the Saint Stephan Society (“Szent István Társulat”) had an early series, entitled “Keresztény remekírók" (Christian classics) contained 16 volumes, published in 1944 (Budapest). Thanks to László Vanyó, a brilliant patristic scholar, the same publishing house had begun a new series on the textual critical basis, and between 1980 and 2009 edited 20 volumes under the name “Ókeresztény írók” (Ancient Christian Writers). After the death of Professor Vanyó had several initiatives in Hungary to continue this important translating and interpreting work, and finally in 2018 the Saint Stephan Society has started its new series, entitled “Ókori Keresztény írók” (Christian Writers of the Antiquity).
