RESULTS The soluble proteins of protoscoleces were resolved into six polypeptide fractions (Fl, F2, F3, F4, F5 & F6) by gel filtration (Fig. 1) having molecular weights (Mr) in the ranges of 90, 64.5,54, 34, 25 and < 17 KD respectively. Each protein fraction was dialysed and their diagnostic potential was determined with sera and immunocompetent cells taken at different days PI. Tube Number Fig. 1.
