Az emlősökön a szőrtetvek csak néhány csoporton élősködnek. A szerző Kim és Ludwig, valamint Zlotorzycka és Modrzejewska felosztását figyelembe véve mutatta be az emlősök szőrtetveit. A szinonim neveket is feltüntette, hogy a korábbi elnevezésekkel is össze lehessen vetni a legújabb rendszertani nevezéktant. Csillaggal jelölte azt a 15 szőrtetű fajt, amelyeket ezidáig hazánkból leírtak. A paraziták elterjedési területét, valamint a gazdaállaton való lokalizációt is közli a dolgozat. A Rodentia rend két fajáról 4, a Carnivora rend tíz fajáról 10, a Proboscidea rend egy fajáról 1, az Artiodactyla rend tizenkét fajáról 12 szőrtetű fajt mutat be a szerző. REFERENCES Azary, A.
