Dr. Murai Éva szerk.: Parasitologia Hungarica 26. (Budapest, 1993)
INTRODUCTION The aim of the cumulative index is to provide an exhaustive coverage of the publications of Parasitologia Hungarica. The list of papers section gives the author(s), the year of issue, title, volume number (bold), and first and last page numbers of the article for each item indexed. If the original paper is not written in English, then the original title is enclosed in square brackets. Items are in alphabetical order of the first author's surname, and each is given an unique item number. Abbreviations for languages: En (English), Ge (German), Hu (Hungarian). This is followed by the author index section. The subject index gives brief details of papers, grouped under headings and subheadings which show subject areas. The entry is completed by geographical regions but taxonomic and/or systematic terms, with the exception of new taxa, are not included. The systematic index is arranged according to a standard classification scheme for the groups concerned. Lower taxa (subfamily, genera, species) within each heading and subheading are listed alphabetically. Invertebrates arrangement was based on Levine, N. D. (1988): The Protozoan Phylum Apicomplexa. Vol. I-II, CRC Press, Inc.; Mehlhorn, H. (1988): Parasitology in Focus. Facts and Trends., Springer-Verlag.; Sey, O. (1991): CRC Handbook of the Zoology of Amphistomes, CRC Press, Inc.; Schmidt, G. D. (1986): CRC Handbook of Tapeworm Identification., CRC Press, Inc.; Soós, Á. and Papp, L. (1984-1992): Catalogue of Palaearctic Diptera. Vol. 1-13. Academic Press and Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest. Vertebrates arrangement was based on Reshetnikov, Yu. S., Kotlyar, A. N., Rass, T. S. and Shatunobskii (1989): Dictionary of Animal Names in Five Languages - Fishes. Russky Yazyk Publishers, Moscow; Duellman, W. E. and Thieb, L. (1986): Biology of Amphibians. McGraw-Hill Book Co.; Peterson, R., Mountfort, G. and Hollom, P. A. D. (1963): Die Vögel Europas. Verlag Paul Parey.; Corbet, G. B. and Hill, J. E. (1980): A World List of Mammalian Species. British Museum (Natural History). We thank Tibor Kassai (Department of Parasitology and Zoology, University of Veterinary Science), Sándor Mahunka (Zoological Department, Hungarian Natural History Museum), Kálmán Molnár (Veterinary Medical Research Institute, Hungarian Academy of Sciences) and László Papp (Zoological Department, Hungarian Natural History Museum) for helpful comments on an earlier version of the manuscript.
