Anterior testis 1.38-2.97 mm long and 2.46-2.97 mm in dorsoventral direction, posterior testis 0.98-1.23 mm long and 2.48-2.93 mm in dorsoventral direction. Pars musculosa well developed, convoluted. Ovary 0.53-0.62 by 0.52-0.85 mm. Terminal genitalium Microbothrium type. Genital pore postbifurcal. Eggs 0.129-0.142 by 0.063-0.078 mm. Reference: Sey 1979. Preparasitic stage Eggs are greenish-yellow, oval or elliptical in shape; the antiopercular pole bears a minute asymmetrically situated knob. Measurements of eggs are 102.3-174.2 by 48.5-94.8 ,wm. Deposited eggs contain zygote or blastula of few cells. Under controlled temperature (27°C), miracidia usually begin to hatch on the 9th day and hatching continues on the subsequent five or six days. Miracidium. The free-swimming miracidium is fusiform without eye-spots, covered with flat, ciliated epidermal cells in four transverse rows according to the formula 6:8:4:2. The measurements of the living miracidia: 155-225 pm in length and 34-55 pm in width. The inner structure of miracidia consists of the apical gland, the penetration glands, the nervous system, the excretory system and the germinal tissue.
