Pergamasus crassipes (Linnaeus, 1758) Localities: Kisbalaton, Királyháza. _ Hosts: N. anomalus, A. agrárius, M. musculus. Known from several localities in Hungary (HAITLINGER , 1979; KANDIL, 1983; SZALAY, 1931). 2. Pergamasus brevicornis Berlese, 1903 Localities: Kishuta, Királyháza, Mátraalmás, Kondorfa, Kisbalaton, Vörs. — Hosts: A. flavicollis, A. agrárius, C. glareolus. A mite species common all over Hungary, both in lowlands and in submontane and montane areas. Documented in several localities by WILLMANN (1938) and HA IT LINGER (1979). 3. Pergamasus septentrionalis (Oudemans, 1902) Localities: Kisbalaton, Szalafő. — Hosts: S. araneus, C. glareolus. First documented for the fauna of Hungary in the area of Kisbalaton (AMBROS, 1981). 4. Eugamasus lunulatus (Müller, 1859) Localities: Kisbalaton, Kishuta, Stájerházak.—Hosts: A. flavicollis, A. sylvaticus, A. agrárius, S. araneus, C. glareolus. Documented so far from the only locality in Hungary by HAIT LINGER (1979). 5. Eugamasus magnus (Kramer, 1876) Locality: Mátraalmás. - Host: T. europaea. So far the only record of this species is the one documented by SZALAY (1931) from the vicinity of Aggtelek in N Hungary. It occurs fairly frequently in the nests of small mammals, less frequently in their fur. 6. Eugamasus bérlései (Willmann, 1935) Locality: Kisbalaton. — Host: S. araneus. So far this is the only record of this non-parasitic mite species in mammal fur in Hungary (AMBROS, 1981).
