root 21 (20-23), outer root 9 (7-10) and recurved point 15 (15-19). All developed anchors oriented ventrally. Haptoral bar absent. 14 marginal hooks, proximal tip with knob resembling a pin-head, length 15 (13-16). Copulatory organ consisting of slightly coiled tube and grooved accessory piece bearing protruding sclerite. Vagina dextral with sclerotised funnellike opening and short vaginal tube. Remarks Examination of aparatype specimen of Trianchoratus acleithrium Price etBerry, 1966 (USNM Helm. Coll. No. 71013) collected from Hekistj>inji_rudolfi (Machan) revealed that this species is conspecific with the specimens collected from H^_ t em m uic kL_ T. acleithrium was redescribed by MI ZELLE and KRITSKY in 1969 based on 20 specimens and they suggested that the rudimentary anchor is a ventral anchor. However the present observations indicate that the rudimentary anchor is a dorsal anchor. Trianchoratus trichogasterium sp. n. (Fig. 14-20). Host: Tr^hojgasterJric^op^erus_ (Pallas) Trichogasterinae, Belontiidae). Locality: Tasek Bera, Pahang. Type specimens: Holotype USNM. No. 78036, paratype UMZD(P) No. 21. No. measured: 19Body size 338 (216-441) x 75 (50-117). 4 eyespots, posterior pair slightly larger. Alimentary system consists of pharynx, short esophagus and coeca which unite just above haptor. Dorsal anchors unequal, right anchor rudimentary, somewhat arcuate, length 12 (10-12);. left anchor developed, inner length 25 (22-28), outer length 27 (22-28), inner root 13 (10-16), outer root 5 (3-6) and recurved point 13 (10-15). Ventral anchors equally developed, inner length 31 (26-34), outer length 33 (26-36), inner root 14 (12-16), outer root 7 (6-8) and recurved point 18 (15-20). All developed anchors oriented ventrally. Haptoral bar absent. 14 marginal hooks, proximal tip with knob resembling a pin-head, length 11 (10-11). Testis submedian dorsal to ovary, vas deferens arises anteriorly from testis, crosses diagonally along dorsal region of body, twist round the left coecum onto ventral side of body, dilating to form pyriform seminal vesicle which opens into proximal part of copulatory organ. Prostate gland opens separately into copulatory organ. Copulatory organ consisting of slightly coiled tube and grooved accessory piece bearing protruding sclerite. Ovary median, vitellaria extending along intestinal loop, confluent anteriorly, posteriorly and medially. Vagina dextral with sclerotised funnellike opening and short vaginal tube. Uterine pore ventral, near copulatory organ. Eggs almost spindle-shaped with knob-like projection at one end. Remarks The copulatory organ and vaginal system of this species resemble that of T. acleithrium except that the anchors in the present species are smaller with more sharply recurving points. This species is named Trianchoratus trichogasterium sp. n. after its host species. Trianchoratus leerium sp. n. (Fig. 21-26). Host: Tric^cjgster_leeri_(Bleeker) (Trichogasterinae, Belontiidae). Locality: Tasek Bera, Pahang. Type specimens: Holotype USNM No. 78037; paratype UMZD(P) No. 22. No. measured: 24. Body size 280 (225-333) x 58 (42-83). Alimentary system as in T.- trichogasterium sp. n. Dorsal anchors unequal, right anchor rudimentary, somewhat arcuate, length 12(10-16); left anchor developed, inner length 31 (28-33), outer length 25 (24-28), inner root 15(13-16), outer root 4 (2-6) and recurved point 15 (15-20). Ventral anchors equally developed, inner length 31 (29-34), outer length 31 (28-34), inner root 15 (14-18), outer root 8 (6-8) and recurved point 18(15-20). All developed anchors oriented ventrally. Haptoral bar absent. 14 marginal hooks, proximal tip with knob resembling a pin-head, length 13 (10-14). Copulatory organ
