from India. JOHNSON, 1969 also redescribed the same species from the domestic cat, Felis domesticus. But it is clear from the comparison given in Table 1, that the present material is much closer to the form described BAYLIS, 1939 for R. cahirensis than JOHNSON, 1969. But, however, the presence of smaUer and embryonated eggs and absence of vulvar lips in the specimen under discussion present a slight difference from the description given by BAYLIS, 1939 and JOHNSON, 1969. These are considered as individual variations within the species.
