Siphonaptera species found in Hungary belong to 6 families. Of the 30 genera discussed only 3 have not been recorded from Hungary. There are keys for the identification of 85 flea species (for male and female specimens separately). One total picture and 97 other figures with a total of some 300 drawings make the work richly illustrated. The work greatly contributes to the knowledge of this parasite group for both the specialists of the field and for those wishing to become familiar with the fleas. MURAI, É.
