M. penicilliger kratochvili and M. sciurorum occur accidentally on Mustela nivalis. As regards zoogeography of the flea species in the Retezat Mountains, there occur European (all species from the Agyrtes group), Euro-Siberian, Palaearctic and cosmopolitan species. In conclusion, the Retezat massif, and the Retezat National Park in particular, is considered to be an abundant source of interesting systematical and ecological informations regarding all groups of animals existing there, due to its well preserved natural geo-morphological conditions and floristic and faunistic characteristics. MÉSZÁROS F. gyűjtései során az utóbbi években 8 gazdafajról tizenhét bolhafaj és alfaj 36 hím és 39 nőstény példánya került kézre..
