3. Labiostomum vesiculare Gvozdev, 1956 (2 oo 5 9?) Host: Ochotona dauurica dauurica Localization: caecum. Description: Mouth-opening surrounded by three lips, two pairs of submedial and one pair of lateral papillae. Each lip suppor­ted by two triangular cuticular structures (Pig. 3A). - Some authors (AKHTAR, 1941, 1956; INGLIS, 1959; GVOZDEV et al. 1970) mention six lips in different species of Labiostomum, while SPASSKY and RYZHIKOV (1951) speak merely of denticles around the mouth-opening . Well developed vesiculum in head (Pigs*.3B,C) Males: Length 6.60-7.80 mm,maximum width 340 p. Depth of buccal cavity 25 p. Esophagus length 840-900 p. Nerve ring 160 u from anterior end. Tail length 350-420 p (Pig. 3D). No spicule or gubernaculum. Five pairs of papillae around mouth-open ing. Two pairs in preanal, one pair in anal, and two pairs in postanal position (Pig. 3E). A comb-like cuticular structure on preanal surface . Females: Length 12.5-15.0 mm, maximum width 600-700 ja. Depth of. buccal cavity 30 p. Esophagus length 1.28-1.46 mm. Nerve ring 170-190 u, vulva 6.10-7.40 mm from anterior end (Fig. 3F). Tail length 1.10-1.25 mm (Fig. 3G). Eggs 71-99 x 40-53 yu (Fig. 3H). Fig. 3: Labiostomum vesiculare Gvozdev, 1956'(Orig.)
