Description: Mouth-opening surrounded by three lips, two pairs of submedial and one pair of lateral papillae. Each lip supported by two triangular cuticular structures (Pig. 3A). - Some authors (AKHTAR, 1941, 1956; INGLIS, 1959; GVOZDEV et al. 1970) mention six lips in different species of Labiostomum, while SPASSKY and RYZHIKOV (1951) speak merely of denticles around the mouth-opening
