Neck 250 yu, followed by gradually wi­dening strobila. Number of testes 35-45 per segment, 50 yu in diameter, situated antiporally, composing a group, some testes lying in front of the ovary. Prostatic gland visible. Cirrus pouch 150-170 x55-70 yu. Cirrus covered with fine spines. Atrium genitale considerably deepening from the marginal line of the segment at its half. Vagina opening into atrium behind cirrus, with well developed musculature, bordered by numerous gland­cells. Receptaculum seminis 150x230 yu. Ovary located in middle of segment, 120-160 x320-440 yu. Vitellary gland with two lobes, 100x200 yu. Ventral excretory vessel 40-50 yu in diameter (Pigs. 3-5). Egg 44-48 yu, bulbus of pyriform apparatus 15 p, length of embryonal hooks 7-8 p. Aprostatandrya macrocephala (Douthitt, 1915) Eosts: Microtus arvalis, Pitymys subterraneus, Clethrionomys glareolus, Ondatra zibethica. It was found also in Microtus oeconomus by EDELÉNYI (I965). - Localities: Tiszabercel, Orgo­vány, Bácsalmás, Mts. Naszály, Mts. Pilis, Lake Velence, N shore of Lake Balaton, Kisbalaton, Vasi hegyhát, Comitat Győr (Tables 2 and 3). - Localization: small intestine. - Extensity and in­tensity: M. arvalis: 5%, 1-4 specimens, P. subterraneus: 5%, 1-5 specimens, C. glareolus: 2-4%, I-4 specimens, 0. zibethica: 2 specimens in one case .
