lus mimus (Ca.,Sa.), Rhinolophus rouxi (Ud.), Rh.lepidua (Da.), Myotis adversus (Ca.); Localization: rectum. The family Anchitrematidae was established as a distinct family-group by MEHRA in 1935 (subfamily Anchitreminae ). CABALLERO (1961) gave it family status. On the basis of the International Codex of Zoological Nomenclature the correct author of the taxon is MEHRA, with the date 1935. It is remarkable that this species very common in the tropics, was found in India only in East-Indian bats, and only few hosts were infected with it. In India it has been found by PANDE (1935a). Plagiorchiidae Lühe, 1901 Plagiorchis vespertilinnig (Müller, 1784) Hosts: Megaderma lyra (Bi.), Scotophilus temmincki (Ca.),Myotis adversus (Ca.), M. longipes (Bumz.); Localization: rectum. The measurements and the ratio of suckers of the collected five specimens correspond with the data of the cosmopolitan P. ves- pertilionis . Micropha.llidae Travassos, 1920 Renschetrema malayi Rohde , 1964 Hosts: Myotis adversus (Ca.), M. muricola (Gh.), M.siligorensis (Gh.); Localization: intestinum. ROHDE (1964) described this fluke species from Malaysian bats, later the author found it in North Vietnam (MATSKÁSI, 1973). It is rather striking, however, that this species living in Malaysia in tropical climate ,occurred in India - as in North Vietnam - in the high mountains but never in the plains with a tropical climate. Only one specimen parasitized the small intestine of a Myotis adversus collected in Calcutta, but 6 and 12 specimens, respectively, were found in Myotis muricola and M. siligorensis collected in Ghum (lying between the ranges of the Himalaya). The collected flukes concur both as to body structure and measurements with the Malaysian and Vietnamese exemplars .
