Experiences of a course of eight-day treatment with Klion (2x1 tabl./die.) obtained on 27 patients infested with Giardia lamblia are described. I. A szerző a magyar vágóhidakon folyó húsvizsgálat adatszolgáltatásai alapján összegezi a parazitózisoknak (fasciolosis, larvális echinococcosis, larvális ascaridosis, metastrongylosis, cysticercosis, trichinellosis, sarcosporidiosis és oesophagostomosis) vágási veszteségekben mutatkozó gazdasági kártételét. A parazitozisok terjedési tendenciájával kapcsolatban a fasciolosis stagnálását, a sertésborsókakór és az echinococcosis csökkenését, a szarvasmarha borsókakórnak pedig a terjedését állapítja meg. Vizsgálja azt a kérdést is, hogy elegendő gondossággal történik-e a paraziták megsemmisítése a vágóhidakon. Economic losses due to some parasitic infections (fasciolosis, hydatidosis, lesions caused by migrating larvae of ascarids, metastrongylosis, cysticercosis, trichinellosis, sarcosporidiosis and oesophagostomosis) have been surveyed on basis of the records in Hungarian abatoires. As for the spreading of the infections, stagnation in relation to the fasciolosis,decrease of both cysticercosis and hydatid disease in pigs, and an increase of cases of cysticercosis in cattle have been revealed. The questions of adequate care for deterioration of parasites in the slaughter-houses have also been raised by the author. Autoref
