Dr. Kassai Tibor - Dr. Murai Éva szerk.: Parasitologia Hungarica 6. (Budapest, 1973)

Differential diagnosis: Strongylacantha glycirrhiza van Beneden, 1873; S. pretoriensis Ortlepp, 1932; S. rhinolophi Yamaguti, 1935, were the three species of the genus Strongylacantha van Beneden, 1873, so far. S. longicaudata sp . n. differs from S. glycirrhiza and S. pretoriensis in the position of the excretory pore. This structure is situated at half length of the esophagus and beyond the nerve ring in the newly described species, whilst just behind the mouth-opening in the other two. S. longicaudata sp . n . is shorter, with shorter spicules and gubernaculum, and a longer tail of the female as compared to those of S. glycirrhiza and S. pretoriensis . S. longicaudata sp. n. differs from S . rhinolophi in the shape of the hook-like teeth. There is no conspicuous bulge at the base of teeth of the new species. S . Iongi c audat a sp . n. is smaller, its bursa copulatrix with markedly finer externo-lateral rays as compared with the other lateral rays, the former not extending to the edge of the bursa. The medio-lateral rays are the most developed among the lateral ones. The latter are nearly equally developed and reach the margin of the bursa in S. rhinolophi . The tail of females of the new species is nearly twice as long as that of S. rhinolophi . The two subventral processes of the tail end are almost indiscernible (not so in S. rhinolophi) . The holotype and paratypes: register No . V/79, are deposited in the Parasitological Collection of the Hungarian Natural History Museum,Bud apest . Type locality Muong Son (Yen Bai region), host: Rhinolophus affinis , date: 7. Dec. 1971, collectors: Dr. I. MATSKÁSI and Dr. Gy. TOPÁL. Trichostrongylidae Leiper, 1912 3- Molinostrongylus alatus (Ortlepp, 1932) Host: Myotis chinensis (Sapa District, Ta-phinh) Localization: small intestine. One male and three females Were collected from one host specimen . 154
