pouch, vagina running anteriorly from cirrus pouch then turning obliquely toward middle of segment and de current perpendicularly toward saddle of ovary. Vagina supplied with a muscular, apherical or barrel-shaped sphincter, 0.050-0.070 mm in diameter. Section behind sphincter surrounded by a granular cover, O.O3O-O.O4O mm in diameter. Efferent section of vagina becomes sinuous near ovarial constriction but does not form a receptaculum before it enters the ovarian duct. This latter is initially infundibuliform, but bifurcates prior to connecting with vagina. Shell gland situated near ovarial constriction, 0.020-0.04-0x0.100-0.130 mm. Uterus short, sinuous, forming 7-14 lateral branches filling entire medullary space in front of ovary in old segments. 3ggs rounded, 0.025-0.029 mm in diameter, oncosphaeres 0.021 mm in diameter, embryonal hooks 0.0085-0.010 mm in size. According to the literature (PREZE ,1965), the intermediate host is the copepodan Cyclops insignis, which is widely distributed in Hungary, P. macrocephalus will thus probably become established as a permanent member of the fauna of Lake Balaton. MURAI, É. : Adatok a Balatonba telepített angolnákban élősködő galandférgekről (Cestodes) A szerző a Balatonba telepitett angolnak helmintológiai vizsgálata során négy belső élősködő féregfajt észlelt: Trematodes: Crowcrocoecum skrjabini (iwanitzky, 1928) Cestodes: Bothriocephalus claviceps (Goeze, 1782) (1-2. ábra) Proteocephalus macrocephalus (Creplin, 1825) (3-4. ábra) Nematoda: Camallanus truncatus (Rudolph!, I8I4). 14 angolna példányból 7 volt férgekkel fertőzött, 2 erősen fertőzött példány bélcsatornájában 50-nél több féreg élősködött.
