A small trematode with an elongate body, tapering toward extremities. Tegument smooth. Subterminal oral sucker smaller then ventral one. Praepharynx present (after fixation it contracts and disappears, thus seemingly being absent in part of the preparations). Pharynx well developed. Oesophagus short, caecal branches approaching end of body. Two round testes located slightly diagonally to each other, one closly behind the other. Cirrus-sac projecting beyond caudal surface of acetabulum, curving round ventral sucker, or rarelly extending anteriorad behind its dorsal surface. Genital pore between intestinal bifurcation preacetabularly . Cirrus-sac containing bipartial vesicle seminal, prostatic glands and cirrus. Ovary at level of caudal surface of acetabulum. Uterus not extending between testes, its loops projecting between testes only in much contracted, fixed specimens. Uterus leading anteriorad on left side of acetabulum. Number of relatively large eggs few. Vitellaria consisting of small follicles, situated from oral sucker to posterior end of body, left and right sides joining before ventral sucker, and also behind testes. Two vitellary ducts meeting between ovary and anterior testis. This species was found by BAER (1943) in Switzerland, and by PROKOPIC (1957) in the High Tatra. MATSKÁSI, I.: Magyarországi rágcsálók (Rodentia) és rovarevők (Insectivora) mételyfaunája I. Hazai kisemlősök a Trematodes osztályba tartozó 5 élősködőjét tárgyalja a dolgozat. Hazánk faunájára nézve uj faj a Cephalo- trema elasticum (Bregenzer, 1916) és a Neoglyphe megastomus (Baer, 1943). Az előbbit a Clethrionomys glaerolusból, az utóbbit a Neomys anomalusból gyűjtötte a szerző.A Cephalotrema e- lasticum lelőhelye a Bakony-hegység (Balatoncsicsó), mig a Neo- glyphe megastomus a Bakony-hegységen (Németbánya) kivül a Soproni-hegységben (Sopron) is előfordul. A hazánkban már ismert Trematoda-faj ok közül az Echinostoma rev ol ut um (Proelich, 1802) a Cricetus cricetusból, az Isthmiophora melis (Schrank, 1788) a Rattus norvegicusból került elő, a Plagiorchis elegáns (Rud.,
