The specimens deposited in our collection agree in characteristics and measurements in general with those described by BAER (1943), PROKOPIC (1957)"and BRENDOW (1970). I call attention to only one conspicuous difference, namely to the intestinal branches not extending behind the testes in our exemplars. The uterus of our exemplars hardly contains ripe eggs, probably they were not whelly adult specimens. These characteristics agree with those, described by Combes and Jourdane (1969). The authors mentioned above found this species in the water-shrew (Neomys), while in Hungary it occurred in the bank vole (Clethrionomys) belonging to the order Rodent la.
