Summary In the years 1956-1965 and in 1969 nineteen species of mammals have been examined as regards their infestation by ectoparasites: 16 species of sucking lice (Anoplura) and 3 species of biting lice (Malloph

aga) were collected. The list of Hungarian Anoplura contains now 21 species. lice new for Hungary: Anoplura.
