New records from the specific host: 5 <î 15 <j> leg. SZABÓ XI, 1963, Budapest. Pthirus pubis (L. ) All over the world, on man. Previously reported in Hungary by KOHAUT (1897), CSIKI (1904) and DUDICH (1923). New records from man: 1 (j> leg. SZABÓ 29 V,1966, Budapest. Mallophaga Bovicolidae KÉLER, 1938 Bovicola climax (Nitzsch) = B. caprae Gurlt A species widely distributed. In the European region, it occurs for instance in Germany, whence it was described 150 years ago, in Poland (MULDER, 1927), Czechoslovakia (BÁLAT, 1956) and Ru­mania (CONSTANTINEANU and al., 1961). In the Mediterranean, it was found in Italy (CONCI, 1940). Reported by KOHAUT (1897) and P0NGRÁCZ (1914). New records: 2 <j> from Capra hircus 1. leg.PIOTROWSKI 28 7,1969, Orfü (near Pécs). Coparasitism with Linognathus stenopsis (Burm. ). Cervicola meyeri (Taschenberg) It occurs on Capreolus capreolus (l.), at least in Germany, Prance (SÉGUY, 1944), Switzerland ( BOUVIER , 1956), Czechoslova­kia (BALAT, 1956) and Poland (PIOTROWSKI and KALULSKI, 1970). It was found on C. pygargus Pall, from Siberia, in one of the European zoological gardens (MJÖBERG, 1910). A species new for Hungary. The specimens have been collected
