BUILDING CALVINIST CHURCHES IN THE TRANSDANUBIAN REGION BEFORE THE TOLERANCE DECREE

Ibis article describes the calvinist church-type at the end of the 18th century. It is an example- study from Mihályháza. This church bears all the classical calvinist features, e.g. the wood equipment, the cassettes on the choir. All of these are interesting and unknow pieces in this area. We can see the whole process of a construction of a new church and we can get to know the earlier building from scripts in Mihályháza. There are some new directions where we can go further and what we have to examine related to calvinist churches.-s 196 s-
